"Hin und zurück" is a work very linked to my personal experience: after a series of trips, literally "back and forth" between Leipzig and Amsterdam, I started collecting old postcards linked to the destination of my travels. After accumulating enough images I intervened through a sort of "mash up". At the end of this movement, of accumulation first and then of removal, this new image emerged.

Very aesthetically linked to graphics, the lines create a space that is"other": suspended between time and space but only referrable to itself. My personal memories of a place are mixed with the memories of someone else who, in turn, wanted to share them with another person. A round trip then, an exchange between memories and landscape.
